Plus1 is somehow elusive but is always one step ahead. Plus1 has its roots in the beautiful area of Saxony and is now based in Berlin. Plus1 relates Hardwax and Kompakt by being loosely associated with Freund der Familie and Koax. Exactly these influences – in between dark dub chords and tight/pointed techno beats – are being celebrated with this very down-to-earth EP. Seemingly endless loops meet playful signals. That is the kind of music which lays cold smoke-screens over bright floors but illuminates dark cellars.
