Miklosh, also known as Michael Rittner, is no stranger to Broque. We fondly remember his release as THE Moment KLKTV with us, and he also looks back on a rich history in Mexico\u2019s club and rave scene of the late \u201990s and early 2000s. Having lived in Spain for many years now, his new EP Love Beaming Giants serves as a way to reconnect with old friends and collaborators from his former home and across the globe. The original track is a collaboration with Paint Hotels from Sydney, inspired by a DMT experience that went viral on Instagram\u2014a source of inspiration that\u2019s clearly audible. The result brims with ideas, stylistic twists, and unexpected breaks, so much so that even five remixes can hardly capture all its facets. Dark slo-mo beats and vocal samples intertwine with Malcom Scholfield\u2019s psychedelic guitar, flowing from trance-like atmospheres into airy drum & bass before merging into a hybrid that unites all these influences into something truly unique. The remixes explore very different directions: Dani Dan highlights the ambient layers over playful rhythms, while Seis Drum shows how much funk can emerge even without a classic beat structure. Chas Rodriguez\u2019s version marches forward with straightforward 4\/4 beats, infused with a dark funk that nods to his background as a drummer in the \u201990s. Paravoice builds on the warmth of the original\u2019s chords for a funkier take, whereas Fouchache, with its old-school bassline and guitar textures, draws inspiration from Gary Numan. Like the original, each remix is a wild journey\u2014one that radiates plenty of love without requiring DMT.\n<\/p>\n
