With his latest Broque EP, Max is getting back to his roots. More precisely, back to his alter ego Max Cavalerra, which he just mothballed recently. After a recent period of personal changes, it\u2019s a good time for Max to remind himself and us of his notorious excellence and his roots, which reach far back into historic techno territory, as proven by his numerous releases on Karmarouge, Harthouse Digital or Broque. His new EP \u201cTechno Mode\u201d boasts five unreleased tracks, which skip the warmup and head straight for the dancefloor. While \u201cRage\u201d, \u201cDevastate The Break\u201d and \u201cWho Cares\u201d are forceful and overpowering techno monsters, \u201cDid You Know\u201d takes a step back and embraces with lots of deepness and a 90s signature rave vibe. After all this massive dancefloor material, \u201cTransversal\u201d surprises with a dreamy electronica funkiness which brings you back to earth. Hard to say, whether \u201cTechno Mode\u201d is a reboot or a flashback or both at the same time. But with all that energy, who really wants to care?\n<\/p>\n
