Unsere Neuentdeckung Pop Booth l\u00e4\u00dft mit seiner EP die Herzen h\u00f6her schlagen: der geb\u00fcrtige Pole Kamil Labanowicz verzaubert mit einem Deb\u00fct, das einen mit euphorisierenden Melodien und Hooks sofort in die Arme nimmt, dabei aber zugleich Tiefe und Geschichtsbewu\u00dftsein atmet. Der Titel „Geometries“ EP kommt hier nicht von Ungef\u00e4hr: in seinem Hauptjob arbeitet Kamil als Designer f\u00fcr sportlich elegante deutsche Automobile, und transportiert seinen Design-Ansatz, basierend auf der steten Suche nach der besten Balance aus Originalit\u00e4t und Eing\u00e4ngigkeit, auf grandiose Weise auf die f\u00fcnf Track seiner EP. Die f\u00fcnf nach geometrischen Strukturen benannten Songs lassen Prescription-Deepness auf leichtf\u00fcssige Melodien treffen, was Kamil vor allem bei dem eleganten „Edges“ und den an die mitrei\u00dfende Euphorie von z.B. Rone erinnernden House Tracks „Curves“, „Lines“ und „Surfaces“ besonders gut auf den Punkt bringt. Ecken und Kanten d\u00fcrfen in einem guten Design nat\u00fcrlich nicht fehlen, und die kommen mit „Corners“ in Form eines old-schoolig perkussiven Deep House Tracks, der ganz geradlinig auf den Dancefloor dr\u00fcckt. Kamils „Geometries“ wollen so gar nicht nach desorientiertem Selbstfindungs-Deb\u00fct klingen, sondern gehen so selbstverst\u00e4ndlich ins Ohr, als w\u00e4ren sie schon immer dagewesen. Und werden uns wohl auch noch eine ganze Weile begleiten.<\/p>\n
