Es ist sicher keine Übertreibung zu schreiben, dass Chris Maico Schmidt mit Projekten wie den Cybordelics und unsterblichen Klassikern wie „Adventures of Dama“ in den 90ern die Technogeschichte mitgeschrieben hat. Präsente und treibende Kraft der Szene ist Mike mit verschiedensten Projekten immer geblieben und seit 2016 auch unter seinem Klarnamen Chris Maico Schmidt aktiv. Seine neue EP „The Brightside“ verfolgt das manchmal subtile und manchmal strahlende Leuchten im Inneren des Klangs von innen nach außen. „The Joy“ feiert das Gefühl reiner, ungefilterter Energie. „The Flow“ trägt diese Schwingung weiter, lässt sie tanzen, treiben, verbinden. Und „The Spark“ führt zurück zum Ursprung – zu dem Moment, in dem alles begann: ein einziger Funke, der Licht und Bewegung entfacht. Mit sanfter Euphorie, rhythmischer Offenheit und emotionaler Klarheit ist The Brightside EP eine Einladung, die eigene Resonanz zu spüren – hell, frei und lebendig.
