Andersworld, das Broque-Debüt von Marie Wilhelmine Anders, war schon ein äußerst facettenreiches Gesamtkunstwerk, welches auf virtuose Weise Club, Storytelling und einen neugierigen Umgang mit klassischen und elektronischen Instrumentarien verband, woraus sich ein stets stimmig in sich ruhendes Album formte. Als wenn der Einflüsse und Facetten noch nicht genug wären, setzt das Andersworld Remix Album nochmal einen oben drauf: elf Remixe von acht Künstlern aus dem engeren und erweiterten Freundeskreis schärfen vor allem die elektronische und Club-orientierte Dimension der Stücke. Über die ersten zwei Drittel bekommt die gerade Bassdrum Vorschub, was zu so fantastisch dunklen Dub Techno-Dramen wie dem charmant bollernden Max Cavalerra Remix von „Escape At Bedtime“ führt. In eine ähnliche Richtung geht Tis alias Synthese, der sowohl „Autumn Fires“, „High (The Wind)“ als auch „Playing Instruments“ zu ziemlich elegischen, von dubbigen Grooves angetriebenen Gesamtwerken verarbeitet. Maries Stimme und Pianotupfer beleben und erheben Rene Wrights technoiden Remix während US-based Jonathan Santarelli und Stefan Kranz „Summer Sun“ und „Keepsake Mill“ in blumige und doch deepe Trance-Epen überführen. Zum Abschluss werden Mar io, Max Cavalerra, Rikaar und der wunderbare Morgen Wurde noch etwas elegisch-experimenteller und erschaffen, wie vor allem Letzterer, aus Maries Stimme und mit Hilfe von viel liebevoller Kleinarbeit und Time Stretching betörende Ambient-Dramen für die Ewigkeit. Unser neues Release als eine Remix-Sammlung zu bezeichnen wäre reines Understatement: zusammengehalten von Maries großartigem Ausgangsmaterial und Thomas Lutz‘ Cover Art ist hier ein kollektives Gesamtkunstwerk entstanden, das die Einflüsse aus der Andersworld kongenial sowohl in die Tiefe als auch die Breite trägt.
