It has been exactly 2 years now, since Clapan alias Dennis Korsunski to release a very successful EP on Broque under the Information Ghetto moniker. However, the man from the Black Sea coastal town of Krasnodar moved on, and advanced his sound massively, as proven by Clapan’s last release „Native Elements“. The new tracks are more sophisticated and even deeper. While the guy clearly heads for the dancefloor here, the remix from another well-known Broque artist – Less alias „More Places“ – tops it all off and shines with a perfect balance of melody and groove.

After our not quite consequently implemented summer break, we are happy to welcome you back and look forward to the upcoming months in 2010.

“NativeElements is a live improvisation recorded in real-time by Clapan aka Denis Korsunski using a set of interactive technologies designed by himself during the past 10 years. This live performance features a huge number of interesting solutions and approaches to the music creation. Throughout, this recording can be treated as a very versatile and fantastic world of unusual musical forms, capable of shaping a sound space that enables every listener to find him-/herself outside the everyday sound environment on a meditative level. Rhythmic figures and unexpected deep analogue textures are naturally organised in fairly original musical ideas, which slide on the verge of experimental electronic and plunge us into a world of passion for new technologies.” [Clapan]

Antony Doria hails from a small town in the walloon part of Belgium named Andenne. His musical style is quite original as he makes use of all techno variants while producing music and combines them with vocals, scratches and a good amount of old school grooves. Antony produces electronic music since 5 years but just started releasing recently, for instance, on imprints such as Hypnotic Records or Communiqué but also contributing remixes for Gayle San, Woody McBride or Tim Taylor.
His Foretaste EP will be completed by Granlab – one of the Broque label chiefs – who contributes 2 remixes which prove once again what diverse musical talents he has to offer. Broque.de is very glad about a release which boasts energetic tracks with which allow us to let you go into the annual summer break with more than just a good conscience.

Just after releasing the successful “Mind Loss EP” on Broque.de together with Gareth Whitehead, Werner Niedermeier follows up on it with his latest EP “About”. The new release captures the many sleepless nights which are just a consequence of the frequent output (for example on Nummer, Supplemental or Sweat Lodge) by the producer who moved to London. And, as if his music wouldn’t be enough, on this EP he is joined once again by some new and some well-known mates: Damian Pevy alias Gumbo Jones from England is a Funk as well as Jazz musician and plays bass, piano and drums. Together with Werner Niedermeier they follow a completely fresh approach to music: electronic, cheerful, and improvised. Berlin-based Freund der Familie convert the title track into a deep and groovy drum&bass track, while Juno6 – well-known from Liebe*Detail and Freude am Tanzen – simply merges all tunes into a brilliant musical résumé.

Kleine Compilation. Bunte Musik. Maximal international.

It’s definitely time for us from Broque.de to, once again, live up to our name which is founded creating legendary versatile compilations. And since we have quite a lot single tracks floating around, which deserve being part of a joint release, we happily present you this small but colourful collection: we start in Paris with the Band from Matthieu Cairon & Raphaël Richard “Au fond du car”, who are about to release an EP on Rec72 soonish. This is followed by a track from the album “hirn se ma zu” from hirnsalbe alias Carsten Buch and Thomas Fuchs out of Fulda, and the debut of Lenar “Lenares” Sukhov from Ufa/Russia. Afterwards, we jump to Barnsley in England where Adrian Collier and Shaun Herbert are at work under the moniker Auto-Pilot. Landschall from Swabia who is well-known from Broque.de once again recorded his track live, analogue and in real-time, while SQware out of France form the finale with their headbanger. One small compilation. Music as colourful as international at once.
